FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION
Your journey with the Philipe Marques design team begins with a complimentary consultation at one of our showrooms, where a member of the team will discuss your project and your requirements. This initial consultation is free of charge.
THE INTERIOR DESIGN PROCESS
Once you are happy to proceed, the design process can begin. We charge a one-off fee which secures one of our expert designers to see your project through from concept to completion.
We will visit your property to take precise measurements and to understand other key elements such as the fall of light, the flow of the rooms and how each room is to be used.
THE DESIGN CONCEPT
Following on from the site visit, our designer will work up a complete design proposal which will be presented to you at one of our design studios. The proposal will include the following:
- The spatial plan, which will provide a clear proposed layout, including a visual representation of how the suggested furniture will work.
- The design, which will include images of all the suggested furniture, fabrics and accessories, enabling you to see how the individual elements will work together and to gain a complete understanding of the design.
- The visual shopping list, which will provide all the key information (product code, size, colour, quantity and price) about each individual item.
- Fabric samples
During the meeting you will have the opportunity to discuss all elements of the design and to view your proposed pieces in situ at the showroom. Any changes arising from the discussion at this meeting will be incorporated into your design before ordering.
ORDERING AND INSTALLATION
Once you are happy with the design, your interior designer will place your order for you and manage the delivery process. The designer will ensure that the delivery is at a time that is convenient for you.
We offer an installation service for all of our clients. If required, your project designer will be on site on the day of delivery to oversee the installation of the scheme. This includes meeting the delivery van, unpacking items and putting them together (covers on sofas, cushion pads in covers etc) and placing items so that the property is fully dressed. The designer will also steam sofa covers, valances and slip covers. All rubbish and packaging will be removed. There is an additional fee for this service.
